Dr. Sarah Echternkamp has practicing audiology in Oregon since 1994. She earned her Master’s degree in audiology from Western Washington University in 1994. Sarah has a strong background in hearing and balance assessments, diagnosing hearing loss and aural rehabilitation. She earned her doctorate degree in audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2007. Dr. Echternkamp is an Oregon-based audiologist with an established connection with the hearing and medical community. She has served on the board for the Oregon Academy of Audiology since 1995 and currently holds the office of President. She has involved herself at the state level to advocate quality and ethical hearing healthcare for consumers and to provide input on ongoing issues that face the profession audiology. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and Academy of Doctoring Audiologists. Dr. Echternkamp grew up in the Seattle area but calls herself an Oregonian. She loves the city of Portland is grateful to live in such a diverse area with so much to offer. Her interests outside the office include running, triathlon competition, cycling, music and spending time in the beautiful city of Portland.
